To ensure a smooth and organized travel process for this year’s offsite, and to avoid issues we encountered last year, we’ve put the following rules in place for booking flights:

Flights will be booked in two batches to help spread out costs:
Batch 1: Booked 60 days prior to the offsite
Batch 2: Booked 30 days prior to the offsite
A list of names assigned to each batch will be shared during the next All Hands.

Aim to book flights around $250 per person
If your flight options are significantly over $250, please flag it when sending link for us to book.
Help us keep things smooth, simple, and on budget — we appreciate it!

When it’s your turn to book, you’ll be responsible for:
Searching for a flight and time that works for you
Sending the exact flight link to Andreas and Molly
We will then book it on your behalf

We do NOT include flight protection or insurance, as doing so for 50+ travelers would be cost-prohibitive.
Once you receive your confirmation number, you must:
Review your itinerary within 24 hours
Confirm that the flight and times match what you requested

Please only commit to the offsite if you are confident you can attend when it’s your turn to get your flight purchased.
Any unnecessary changes or no-shows, unless due to a medical reason or family emergency, may be subject to internal review.
